Coming together of the Saints Lets us Know Spirit is Still Strong While Work for His Church MUST be Done.
Since the Spring Fellowship of 2010, I myself was looking forward to the convention in August like a small child looks forward to a present during the Christmas season. Only being able to attend two days was disappointing, however, when I arrived at church, all I saw was the joyful product of what happened in the preceding days. Unless you chose not to participate, everyone got blessed. I only attended two days, and am totally filled and more committed to the vision that God has for my Pastor, my Bishop, the Church of the Living God, and definitely myself. I only pray that this rejuvenation has found it's way in all those that made the effort to be included in His presence in Toledo Ohio.
The one thing that I am thankful for is the unity of the spirit as I was blessed from the beginning when Sis. Lisa Hampton and her niece Jenee included me in the ride over to Ohio. I am not even a part of their church and they found it within their spirit to let me tag along. Don't worry, I did pay gas money, but next if the opportunity presents itself, I'll drive a little more than zero hours and zero minutes. Then arriving in Toledo, Clinton Ransey opening his doors to make sure that I had a place to stay overnight. What I'm saying is that the love that was shown was only one of God because we all know human nature would not allow a person to give of themselves in that manner. Definitely the unity of love was in the air.
A few weeks back during our Sunday School Lesson, we were studying about Paul and how he exhorted the Church of Thessalonians because of how in one spirit they worked together in love. With this SINGLE OBJECTIVE, not only did virtually everyones life change after hearing the Gospel through Paul and Silas, but miracles followed, healings, prophecies, tongues, temperance through persecution, peace, joy, increasing in their faith and so much more. This was done in joy knowing that there was someone who labored beside you with the same like-mindedness, all things that we have if submit to God with our WHOLE HEART!! Let's carry this type of heart back to our home and church that we fellowship in.
Yes, these events within TCW I definitely look forward to, as well as hearing the strong word that goes from ear to ear from these powerful men and women of God. They only come two times a year, but fellowship is fellowship, Love is love, His Spirit is His Spirit. So if we truly, and I mean truly proclaim these things in our Christian life what is there stopping us from working together, fellowshipping with each other, loving on each other, holding one another accountable, blessing one another with your presence. If this is truth, what is really holding back ourselves from the blessings God has awaiting us because there is so much more that he has for us. Convention was only a foretaste of the potential of TCW, and the individual churches themselves.
I'm definitely renewed with a new mindset, to go for it all in Jesus. He is all there is, and I am thankful to share this mind in Christ with those who love Him just like I do. Before I close, I do have a challenge, this is to pray everyday for at least 15 min., and DON'T STOP. If you forget, you know as the old saying goes, if you fall off your bike, get back on and try again. He will bless, as he said he will. So with this sureness in Christ that he will do every single promise he said we can have, let us be blessings not only to ourselves as one, but to everyone who comes within our presence.
This is Deacon Yoswa Kaggwa-Kasaato signing out, 1Luv to everyone.
